Speaker’s Program
Rtn. Alan introduced the speaker Ms. Amada de Lange from Xi’an Starfish Foster Home.
In September 2005, Amanda de Lange founded Starfish Children’s Services to save children who have special health needs of orphans. Starfish Childrens Services (SCS) rescues children in need of medical care by working in collaboration with local orphanages. SCS organizes and pays for needed surgeries and provids post-operative care. The end goal is to find homes for these children in stable, loving families.
Rtn. Regula thanked Amada for her very touching presentation. Members who wish to visit her home in the future may ask Nancy for Amanda’s information.
