Reports & Announcements
Nancy introduced Mr. Agustin Carioni, a potential volunteer intern, recommended by Hutong School. He will be interviewed by the board on Monday Jan 11. If he is selected he will help with meetings, events and projects under Nancy’s direction. He is from Argentina, has studied in Europe, the US and now China. He has completed his MBA a year ago and worked as a counter party locator for an Argentinean consortium of prune and peanut growers. As part of his 5 and ½ month tour of duty as a volunteer with us, we hope members can introduce him to China and the world of international business.
Rtn. Helge has returned from Germany. Through the miracle of modern chemistry his knee is able to sustain him and he is looking positively radiant.
Rtn. Peter made a special note of his feelings about seeing Helge and Vladi by putting a 1,000 RMB into the happy box.
Rtn. Raphael announced that there would be a ball committee meeting on Tuesday Jan 5 in the evening, at the usual place.
Many Rotarian’s who were away for the holidays were welcomed back and a good fellowship was had by all.
