Reports & Announcements:
Visiting Rotarian Brian Johnson introduced himself and his club, RC Goodna Australia, which is a small club of 35memebers. They meet every Monday evening for golf, fellowship and service and would welcome anyone from Beijing to visit.
Ulrike introduced visiting Rotarian Ms. Elisabeth Villao, who has just start living in Tianjin. Elisabeth hails from a RC KØge Nord, Denmark which is a relatively young club with fifteen members, ten of whom are women.
March Board Meeting Report
President John gave the March board meeting reports. The club will be switching to a virtual office by the end of the month. YK, the Special Representative, has requested attendance numbers, to keep members up to date on their attendance a monthly attendance list will be sent to each member. John also shared his experience and some pictures of his meeting with some of the Rotarian’s who are participating in the around the world Clipper Race. John, Priscilla and Nancy went the airport last Friday to exchange banners with them.
Treasurer Jens gave the club account report which will be made available to members on the website. Members are reminded to pay their dues and that membership cards will be mailed out shortly.
RI Polio Contribution
TRF Director Josephine announced that members can make their individual donation at RI website. The club # is 62704, District # is 0052. Members can ask Nancy if they don’t know their RI member number.
