Reports & Announcements:
Previous PE Henry Wang is back
President John announced that PE Gilbert has officially resigned from his position and that last year’s PE, Henry Wang, who has recently relocated to Beijing, was voted in as 2010/11 President by the incoming Board of Directors.
Dulwich College and Beijing Youth Orchestra
Peter Humphrey offered 10 free tickets for the Dulwich College of Beijing and the Youth Orchestra’s concert, which combines the best young musical talent from the various international schools in Beijing. The orchestra will be performing at 7pm on Sunday 18 April, in the Edward Alleyn Theatre at Dulwich College’s Legend Garden Campus. The program continues the orchestra’s concerto series and features Piano Concerto in A Major Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg, Clarinet Concerto in A Major K622 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and “music from the movies”, with performances from soloists Joseph Lim and Daniel Zhao, two of Beijing’s leading young musicians.
Interact GuangAi Orphanage Health Check Project
The Interact Club is organizing a health check for the children in the GuangAi orphanage. After months of effort, the health check will take place in the Chaoyang Health Services Center for Women and Children, on both 18th (Sunday) and 19th  (Monday) of April.
It is near the Panjiayuan market. The full address of the hospital is No.25, huaweli, Panjiayuan, East 3rd ring road, ChaoYang district (北京市朝阳区东三环潘家园华威里25号).

Ball Chairman Raphael announced he is donating several items personally for the raffle prize and he encourages other members to donate as much as they can.

This will blow you away–amazing mixture of African native chants (recorded live) overlaid with western tunes- live African drums, sound-and-light show— -sung by IFC adult Children and Youth choirs- very moving and beautiful experience for all the family—book early!

Speakers Program:
Rtn. Don gave a detailed and professional presentation about the Coal business in China.  His 30+years of experience in this field allowed for great insight into the industry. As well as talking about the new technologies utilized these days, he encouraged people to reduce miner’s work by employing daily energy saving methods. Don’s breadth of knowledge made for a very interesting presentation.
