Report & Announcements
Rtn. Charles Lagrange announced that on October 28, Regula, Charles and his wife went to visit Sun Children’s Village. Charles encouraged members to voluntarily spend some time with the children in the Village, talking and helping them in English.

President Kevin, members and guests celebrated the birthday of Rtn. David Van Meerendonk, Charles Lagrange and Niels-Uwe Behrens.

Speaker’s program
Rtn. Russ Miller introduced Frank T. Gallo, Ph.D., the speaker.
Frank is one of the foremost executive coaches in China. With over 30 years of management and human resources experience, he works with both Chinese and Western executives helping them to be successful leaders in China. He has lived in China for seven years and is the retired president of Watson Wyatt China. He is the founder and president of Calypso Consulting, a firm dedicated to improving the level of leadership in China.
Frank is the author of the highly acclaimed Business Leadership in China: “How to Blend Best Western Practice With Chinese Wisdom”. From 2003 to 2007 he was the Chair of the HR Forum of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
Frank gave a presentation about his new book that addresses several issues commonly encountered by western enterprises in China. He vividly used Chinese philosophy and current attitudes to analyze a contemporary business perspective on Chinese leadership values.
Rtn. Alan thanked Frank for his enlightening presentation, an important help for western enterprises and expatriates in China.
