Report & Announcements
In the Rotarian self introduction session, Rtn. Rita Yang gave an interesting introduction to herself and her hobbies and interests. She shared examples of her work in the interior-design field, including a number of outstanding projects that had left a deep impression on her clients.
Rtn. Josephine Ng shared her life story about her hometown (Singapore), interests, career and charity work. As an example of her involvement and in charity work, she asked her guest, Alexandre Pinon, Head of Mission of international NGO, Médecins Sans Frontières, to give a brief introduction about the work they do.
Alexandre Pinon briefly introduced their humanitarian activities in China, including their anti-AIDS project in Nanning, Guanxi Province. Club Speaker Program Officer Rtn Alan proposed to invite Mr. Pinon back to our meeting again to give us a more detailed presentation about this work.
