Reports & Announcements
Today was an assembly day meeting and President Kevin Fong presented his report on the March board meeting, which was held the previous evening. President Kevin reported the resolutions and motions that were approved by the Board and updated members regarding the club and China team matters. A copy of President Kevin’s presentation will be circulated to the membership after the meeting.
Sergeant-at-Arms Gilbert auctioned an item donated by Rtn. Norbert. Rtn. Josephine won the auction with her bid of RMB 2,500.
Rtn. Christoph announced that he had received 8 offers of interest in forming a Beijing Rotaract Club, but he still needed a further 7 members before the club could be officially launched. He appealed to members to spread the word and to pass details of interested people to him. He reminded us that Rotaract members must be aged between 18-30 and hold a foreign passport.
President Kevin, on behalf of Rtn. Carl, announced that the Interact Club of Dulwich College will hold a concert on the evening of 14th March at the Dulwich College. Anyone interested in attending this event should contact Rtn. Carl or Rtn. Sigrid.
