Reports & Announcements
President Kevin shortly introduced Rtn. Barry Matheson who could not stay for the luncheon but wanted to say hello to our Club. Rtn. Barry is Past Governor of District 2260 (Norway) among many other positions, including in RI.
Ball Committee Chair, Rtn. Arne appealed to members for their generous support to the raffle draws and auction at this year’s Ball. For members who would like to contribute, please contact Rtn. Arne for further details.
Communication Director, Rtn. Gilbert requested the co-operation of all members to assist in maintaining the validity of information held on the club’s website. As the website is the main communication channel between the club and external parties, all information needs to maintained up to date.
Speaker’s Program
Club Speaker Program Officer, Rtn. Charles introduced today’s speaker, Mr. John Russell, the Vice President of Weber Shandwick.
With his rich experience in public relations/communication and previously being posted to various countries, Mr. Russell had a remarkable view and understanding on the changing reputation of China in recent years.
Rtn. Charles thanked Mr. Russell for his interesting and intriguing presentation.
