Our Interact partner school, Dulwich College of Beijing, is spearheading the successful Beijing Youth Orchestra, which combines the best young musical talent from the various international schools in Beijing. The orchestra will be performing a concert at 7pm on Sunday 18 April, in the Edward Alleyn Theatre at Dulwich College’s Legend Garden Campus. The program continues the orchestra’s concerto series and features Piano Concerto in A Major Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg, Clarinet Concerto in A Major K622 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and “music from the movies”, with performances from soloists Joseph Lim and Daniel Zhao, two of Beijing’s leading young musicians.
Tickets are on sale at 60 and 40 RMB. If you are interested in attending, please contact Dulwich College Beijing on +86-10-6454 9000 or email Mr. Shane O’Shea, head of music at Dulwich College, on Shane.O’Shea@dulwich-beijing.cn.
